Meet the Moms Behind Tiny Pastures
Meet the Founders Jasmine & Charlene
Hi! We're Jasmine and Charlene, two moms from the beautiful mountain town of Squamish, British Columbia.
The idea for Tiny Pastures began when I (Jasmine) had my first son, Banks. Nutrition has always been a passion of mine, but becoming a mom gave it a whole new meaning. When my family and I set off on a month-long trip, I searched for convenient baby food that was still nourishing like the meals I made at home, and I couldn’t find it. Instead, grocery store shelves were filled with fruit-forward pouches that lacked the protein, healthy fats, and key nutrients babies need after six months. The few products made with meat offered little transparency about where their ingredients came from, and most were shelf-stable for years.
I decided if I couldn’t find the purees I was looking for, other parents must feel the same way. Before long, I wasn’t just making purees for Banks but also for my friends’ and family’s babies too.
A couple years later, I (Charlene) had my first son, Riley. I also loved to prepare healthy meals at home, but I couldn’t find convenient options that I felt good about serving to Riley when life got busy. One conversation with Jasmine, changed everything.
“What if we created the baby food we wished existed?” That simple question became Tiny Pastures.
Everything we create is inspired by the meals we make for our own children. We’re just two moms who wanted better for our own babies. It means the world to us to now share those same nourishing meals with other families.
From our family to yours,
Jasmine & Charlene
