One of The Main Reasons Tiny Pastures Exists
My little dude is one of the biggest reasons Tiny Pastures exists.
Banks had a tough start. He was born premature and struggled with severe reflux, so from day one, making sure he was nourished became incredibly important to me.
When he started solids, I made almost everything myself. I focused on iron and zinc, healthy fats from whole foods, and introducing him to lots of different flavours and textures through vegetables, herbs and savoury foods.
But as every parent knows, making homemade baby food every single day isn’t always realistic. I wanted an easy option in the fridge that I could reach for on busy days or take with us on the go and still feel really good about feeding him.
I searched grocery stores and online, but I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I wanted something fresh, meat-forward, made with whole-food fats and vegetables, and without added sugar.
I kept thinking, if I’m searching this hard for something like this, there have to be other parents looking for it too.
So instead of continuing to search for it, we decided to create it.
And that little idea eventually became Tiny Pastures.
The baby food we wanted for our own babies, made for yours too.
